A fish has a head 9" long. The tail is equal to the size of the head plus one-half the size of the body. The body is the size of the head plus the tail. How long is the fish? T = 9 + B/2, and B = 9 + T, then B = B/2 + 18. That leaves B = 36, T = 27. I think my math is correct, yet the test only gives multiple choice answers of: 27, 54, 63, 72

Yes, he had some practice effect, but I think he was smart either way. You cant really practice it from 95% to 99.9%. He was already smart, but maybe improved some results (maybe he practiced digit span test for example in order not to make mistake by some mnemonics, but he would need to have pretty good working memory either way). I am just

It would be used in 2 ways: 1, to keep track of my choices and 2, to keep track of the multiple layers of logic for the harder problems. I solve the harder ones in several stages. So for example, I would write down A B E as my potential choices, then keep working on the problem, cross off choice A and E, leaving B as my final answer. Some of
I wouldn’t be all that surprised, really. People underestimate the ceilings of tests with simple items when the g-loading is high (and it is going to be high, in this case). Also, there are 80 questions, which is 2-2.67 times the amount of many online tests (30-40 questions) that even cap at 145 IQ. It isn’t that unbelievable, in my opinion.

Where can I find the answers to Mensa online IQ test? Here's the link: http://test.mensa.no/ Other day I found a mention to one of the questions there (nr 33).
Welp, in my case, both of my scores match the official norm of the respective test.24/30 and 30/40 are around 131 iq.new test might have better properties, but it is a braindead test. A monkey without depth of thought, but good processing speed or reasoning speed and decent memory will get really high scores.

No, it's not top 2% of those who took the Mensa IQ test. The test you took is also administered by other psychologists to general population, and they determine the test's variance and mean using the large and more representative sample. I didn't really check my words - but I'd expect them to be true.
Randomly getting about 11 correct answers (a raw score of 99 in this test) out of 228 possible answers doesn't seem very odd though. Subtract the bottom ceiling value of 75 to the top ceiling of 162, divide by the maximum of right answers of 38, and you get 2.23, which is the expected average value of each answer. So 75 + 11(2.23)=99.5.
For me it's a fear that the iq score I get online won't be the same with a psychologists or certified tester.
As most know, it costs $10 (USD) to do the online Mensa practice test. I already had the questions kept, and it seems many here would like to do it without paying the meesley $10. So, here it is. Unfortunately, answers are not provided. If you want to be scored, you'll have to purchase the online test.
Color discrimination, not exactly IQ but seemingly correlates strongly with it: Munsell Hue Test. Mixed or multiple tests: Discoverymyprofile – The Psychometrics Centre. Includes ICAR16, ICAR60 and others. ICAR is a mixed type test, with 4 types of items: spatial rotation, number series, verbal reasoning, and figures. Hi so I just recently took the iq-test.cc and got 115. I took this online Mensa test for giggles with a friend of mine and got this. To be fair I took an official IQ test when I was in high school and got a 136. self.mensa
Not all IQ tests include Working Memory or Processing Speed in the Full Scale IQ, and some IQ tests include measures of other skills in the overall score. For the Wechsler tests, about 30% of your Full Scale IQ Score comes from the Verbal Comprehension, 30% from Perceptual Reasoning, and 20% each from Processing Speed and Working Memory.

Creator of the Danish online test did it on purpose in order to discriminate higher IQs. Anybody who would perform above 120 IQ on that test would be advised to take the real Mensa admission test. Also, people who scored 130+ on proctored test, usually scored lower in Danish test (not always, but many times they reported deflated scores).
SuitableLeather • 7 days ago. It only defeats the purpose if you know the exact answers to exact questions. If someone explains to me a complex math question step by step, I may be able to understand how they got to that answer. But I probably won’t be able to recreate the theory for another problem unless I understand it fully.
Using the renormed untimed norms 28/36 would equate to 120 IQ, potentially add 5 points to your score as you’re still 14. The test is reliable but the norms are off, the renorming was done independently by 2 different people (Chip Douglas and psychometriandoctor) and both reached similar conclusions.
